Baby's First Toys
In the bright, cheerful colors that Sassy has become famous for, this set of miscellaneous playthings and teethers is sure to capture baby's interest and attention. While the eye-catching colors and shapes, are sure to draw baby's eye, the toys in this set also come in a variety of textures and shapes, so that baby can investigate how each one feels in her hand and, inevitably, in her mouth. Soft, flexible rubber parts on many of the toys make them just right for a little playful gnawing when baby is teething, while other toys in the set come with smoother plastic parts that have been rounded off to prevent injury. --Chris Burns

    Good Choice

I am happy with the total package. There are a number of things that go with the various stages of our baby's development, and overall I beleive the price works out more economical than purchasing individual toys.
Money well spent! We got MORE than the pictures show, for LESS!

I actually purchased this set at BRU when my twins were about 2 months old, and I paid much less for it as well.

I did recieve EVERYTHING (and more!) pictured in this set, and I am sorry to hear that the past reviewer received a lousy representation of this truly wonderful set.

    (1) I LOVED it for the teething rings. I needed to find links like that, since EVERYTHING nowadays is interchangeable with simple links. These also happen to be alphabet letters, very pliable, and safe for babies. They are also textured, so they are fun to teeth on. My daughter (20 months) also loves them, and thinks its fun to string them together. My older nephew also LOVES hooking them up in the order of the alphabet, and he's 3.5!
    (2) The cute rattles were also included, we got, the penguin teether, the butterfly teether, the fish teether, the circle rattle/teether, the "dun bell" teether with rings in between, the oval teether with a circular rattle, the 1/2 plush 1/2 teether rattle (has a head with three prongs on the top), the plushy that's made up of 3 spheres, the octopus, the three ducks, and the ball. The ones that aren't in the picture, but came with the set are, 2 old fashion rattles (clear circle with beads inside and a handle), a triangle, square, and star teether (the ones with water inside), a squeaky monkey, and a pair of baby keys. So far my twins seem to like the keys, the ball, and the ducks the best! One of the ducks is even a squirt toy for the bathtub!
    (3) We love that we can attach almost every toy in this set to the boys Bumper Jumpers, saucers, gyms, and cribs without much of a hassle. We also became creative and used the links to keep their pacifiers near them (attached to the harness on the stroller, car seat, or the "arms" on their highchair!).
    (4) Each and every toy is interesting. They are all brightly colored, and great for "amusement" in times like car rides, walks in the stroller, and time in the exersaucer, or highchair... I also found the toys to be very durable, and very cute!

I think these toys are terrific, they are easy to travel with, and I (along with my husband and children!) are constantly coming up with new ways to use the toys. We have even turned the links into a "leash" for my daughters toys, or a rope to pull the boat in the tub. The possibilities are endless, and for $20 (what we paid for it!) its defiantly money well spent!
    very very disappointed and deceived

I read all the reviews for this set of toys and looked very carefully at the pictures online, which is why I decided to include it in my baby registry. However, when we did finally get the toy it was truly disappointing because half the things that they show in the pictures were not actually there. The duckie was replaced with a very crude pig which is far from the cute piggy that comes to a readers mind. And the hippo and octopus are just not there. All the toys including the teething rings were very low quality and the plastic seemed dirty and out-of-shape. Infact, as I was looking over everything, the recurring thought in my mind was: I will probably have to incinerate these toys just to sterilize them. And to top it all off, I realized that we truly did not get our money's worth because I know for a fact that for 40 bucks (which is what this play set is worth) we could get really good stuff from other companies like Lamaze etc which are made with alot more care and thought to the baby's development and play.
All in all, we felt truly deceived by this company Sassy because firstly they did not honestly display all the toys that they actually include in the box and secondly, for the kind of crap they sent, they are over charging the consumers like crazy. I don't think this toy even deserves one star but they don't have a rating lower than that, unfortunately.

    Best LeapFrog toy out there.

I must say that I am NOT a fan of leapfrog toys, but this is just wonderful. Most of the ABC toys, my 2 year old just pushes buttons while the toy tries to get the letter and sound out, while not paying attention to what he is doing, and he doesn't need to go through the entire alpahbet just to get to letters. This toy, he actually has to pick up a letter piece, put it in the thing to push and while he is looking at it, it says the letter, sound and a little song (which I can not get out of my head). I also love it because it can stay on our fridge and not have pieces all over my house.

The A does sound a little confusing. The first time it sounds like "AY" then it sounds more like "EH". More like "Ay says eh and Eh says ah." But that is the only letter that annoys me. Other than that it is wonderful. I would love to have more of these fridge toys from Leapfrog
    Must have for all kids!!!!!

This is a must have for all kids. We had bought it for my nephew when he turned two and my sister said it was a hit. He wouldn't stop playing with it. My son was just born and my husband was afraid they were going to discontinue it like they do with a lot of other toys so we went out and bought it for him. He loved it when he was 1 and still loves it now that he's 2 (but now he can sing along with it).
    She loves it!!!

I bought this for my God daughter back in March and she loves it! She's a little over two now and learns frequently!

Scene It? The DVD Game - Disney Edition
Executing a clear and comprehensive crossover strategy between a board game and a set of familiar characters can be a tricky enterprise. But this synthesis of familiar Disney and the increasingly popular board game Scene It works exceptionally well, relying on DVD technology and the familiar faces of Disney's beloved characters to form a consistently entertaining family play experience. Included in the set are a game DVD, a game board, four category reference cards, 30 "buzz" cards, and 160 trivia cards with special sets for kids and adults. The game's designers thoughtfully included some Disney classics for Mom and Dad but there is more of an emphasis on Disney properties of the last fifteen years or so, The Lion King, George of the Jungle, the live action 101 Dalmatians, in order to appeal to the youngsters. Game play between the physical board and the action on the DVD is well executed and we found it easy to understand the rules and have fun. --Charlie Williams

    AWESOME, AWESOME, AWESOME!!!!!

My best friend and I (me 12 her 13) LOVE playing this game together! We played for probobly about 3 hours straight a few times! This game is great! I had an older version of disney trivia before, and this is a LOT cooler! It's great for all ages too! My younger brother and dad both love it as well as my friend and I. I recomend ages 6+ to play this game, maybe even younger. If you love disney, you'll love playign over and over, maybe even learn more about it! The instructions can be hard to understand at fist, but after a while it's much easier. Very durable as long as you take care of it, tons of fun, just tottally awesome!:)
    GREAT FAMILY GAME!

The Disney Scene It game is now the highlight of our family nights. The kids absolutely love it (ages 4 and 6). My husband and I enjoy playing as well, for Disney makes it an "all ages" type play. They use movie clips from old, old movies, as well as the brand new ones. So all ages can enjoy it and still be competitive. This game has already become a part of our children's childhood memories. I highly recommend it.
Fun, but only for 4 or 5 replays

My kids were excited to play it, but lost interest after about the 5th game. They said that they were getting the same questions. As a parent, this is pretty frustrating, especially since Eco Rangers ([...]) has at least 50 replays. There was no problem with the interface and it was very easy to start, however. Scene It just needs to put more movies into the game and it would be great!

    Customer Review:
    Lego Record & Play

Lego makes great toys for kids of all ages, and this one is really no exception. My son got this for his 7th birthday, and although it may be a little advanced for a 7 year old alone, it's a great way for us to spend a couple of hours together. My only complaint would be for it to have more detailed instructions.
    Basic Motor Set

This set is a good beginner's set for those interested in the Lego Mindstorms Robot sets. It is easy to build the sets included and introduces the concepts of gears. It can build many gear configurations found on MIT's Constructopedia Site. A good set to introduce motors and gears. My five year old son is interested in the set, but it is too advanced for many young builders.
    Excellent for 7yr. old children

It is well worth the price at $25. Expected Lego quality. Different construction models will allow the child to break it down and do it over again.
